Is Mobile Banking safe?
Yes! Mobile Banking is 100% secure, allowing you to bank with complete confidence. The highest level of security is maintained through enhanced authentication, including a personal PIN that you and only you know.
How do I get started?
While CBT Mobile Banking is absolutely free, you must first be enrolled in CBT Online Banking. You must also be signed up for CBT’s Free Bill Pay Service to take advantage of Mobile Banking Bill Pay features.
Log on to CBT Online Banking at www.cbthomebank.com and then follow the easy steps below.
Step 1 – Enroll in Mobile Banking
After logging on to your CBT Online account, select “Other Services” and then “Mobile Banking” as shown below.
Step 2 – Disclaimer Acceptance
Then you will be presented with the one-time disclaimer which you have to agree to in order to use Mobile Banking. Checkmark the box next to “I Accept the Disclaimer” and click the “Submit” button.
Step 3 – Create Username and PIN
For your security, Mobile Banking from your phone does not use the same username and password as Internet Banking from your computer. So you need to create a username and PIN code, as well as provide your cell phone number for confirmation text messages. After completing these fields, click the “Enroll” button.
Please note: For your phone number please enter only the numerical digits with no dashes, spaces or other characters. For your PIN use numerical digits only, from 4-12 digits in length. Keep your username simple since you'll be typing it on your mobile device.
If you happen to land on a page that appears as the picture below, please simply click the Enroll button to get to the credentials screen as above:
This completes enrollment, and you will see a confirmation screen such as this one:
