Fixed Rate Mortgage

Conventional home loan.  Offers the security of knowing that your principal and interest will remain constant during the life of the loan.

Balloon Mortgage

May be used to purchase a home or other real estate, make improvements to an existing dwelling, or refinance present real estate mortgage.  The interest rate is fixed for a set term although monthly payments are usually based on what you would pay for a longer term loan with a balloon payment at the end of the term and the opportunity to extend the loan at the current interest rate.

Interest First

Pay interest only on your mortgage for a set term with payments calculated on a longer term amortization.  Provides for increased financial flexibility and frees up cash for other needs.

Home Equity Loans

Reverse Mortgage

A Reverse Mortgage is a government insured loan program that allows senior homeowners (62 and over) to convert a portion of their home equity into usable cash.  There are no monthly mortgage payments or tax consequences.  You do not forfeit any of your rights as the homeowner.  You or the heirs of your choosing decide when or if the home is to be sold and when the loan is repaid.  100% of the remaining equity in the home, after sale, belongs to you, your heirs or your estate.

Refinance Mortgage

Typically used to shorten or extend your current mortgage terms or to reduce the interest rate you are paying on your current mortgage.  May also be designed to provide cash back for home improvement, debt consolidation, or other purpose.

Construction Loans

Build that dream home!  Available to qualified builders and to individuals building custom homes with professional contractors.  Provides funding through the construction phase of a homebuilding project.  Interest paid only on funds actually advanced for construction.  Upon completion of construction, CBT can provide permanent financing through one of our many mortgage products.
